Description:
La Ultima Casa is a cosy four-person holiday house in the far south of Spain, 30km from the harbour city of Almería. It is quietly located at the end of a street in the old section of Níjar and looks out over the valley. Both the bedrooms have a fan for cooling, while in the colder months you can spend a fine evening in front of the fireplace. It’s also nice to be outside there; at the front is a porch, and on the lower floor an inner courtyard, while on the first floor there is a spacious and sunny roof terrace with dining table for four and a large parasol. Níjar is a picturesque town 30 kilometres from the coast. There are several terrace cafés and restaurants, but it is by no means a carnival atmosphere with discos and neon lights. The baker brings the bread in the morning to your door, and there are a number of shops for your daily errands, including a butcher’s and fish shop. There is also a market on Wednesdays. A number of beaches are half an hour to forty minutes away, as is the nature park Cabo de Gata. The area is ideal for hiking, including from Níjar itself. Swimming, horseback riding, playing tennis, golf, windsurfing – all of this is possible in the immediate vicinity of the town. Cleaning times per week included
