The Skol is a complex of privately owned apartments arranged in three
blocks surrounding a beautiful, tropical garden area. Within the gardens are
two pools and a café/restaurant. The apartments all have terraces and sea
views with the East facing apartments having the sun in the mornings, the
west facing one’s, sun in the afternoon and early evening and the South
facing one’s, sun all day. On a good day, the views include the North Coast
of Africa and the Rock of Gibraltar.From the gardens is direct access to the
Paseo (promenade) where one can stroll along to the old fishing harbour of
Marbella in one direction or the glitzy, glamorous marina of Puerto Banus in
the other. Right in front of the complex is the beach! One of Marbella’s
best with restaurants cooking fresh sardines on the BBQ, showers and a
variety of water sports.
Within a few minutes walk of the complex are plenty of bars, restaurants,
chringuitos (beach bars) and shops and, within a 15 minute walk, is the
lovely old town of Marbella full of little cobbled streets, tapas bars,
designer shops, and the famous Plaza de Naranjos (Orange Square).Within easy
driving distance are some of Spain’s nicest little villages, some great
national park areas and some really stunning cities such as Seville,
Granada, Cordoba and Ronda. Marbella itself is 40 minutes from Malaga
airport or 1 hour from Gibraltar airport.Marbella is a great place for a
holiday and the Skol complex is one of the most popular complexes in the
town.
