GUARDAMAR
The picturesque town of Guardamar, situated on the river Segura, is surrounded by dunes, shrubs, eucalyptus plants, orange and lemon groves. It’s
main attraction is the 11km stretch of natural golden sand with a backdrop of shady pine forests. The forest is part of a beautiful nature reserve and is an ideal place for cool walks and
picnics. An evening stroll along the tree lined promenade brings you to the craft market and funfair. Bars and restaurants are plentiful, and many family activities, including swimming and tennis, are available. Once a small fishing village,it now boasts its own marina and yacht club. Three 18 hole golf courses are within a 3km radius.
