Marbesa is a holiday resort located between
Marbella town and
Fuengirola. It is
situated next to the coast and is a desirable visitor location. It is a relaxing
and uncrowded resort and is not as busy as some of the other resorts found

Marbesa has a beautiful unspoilt beach which is popular with visitors but still
remains uncrowded. Beach bars can be found along the beach for sunbathers to
enjoy some food and drink whilst relaxing in the sun. Watersports in the form of
jet skiing, surfing and sailing can be found at this location. Golfers will
enjoy Marbesa as it is in close proximity to a number of golf courses including
the Cabopino and Greenlife clubs.

This holiday resort has several supermarkets within the vicinity; however, great
shopping opportunities start within a short walk to the nearby
Elviria shopping
centres. Here you will find a myriad of shops and boutiques where you can
purchase jewellery, leather goods, clothing, ceramics, pottery, art and great
gifts as authentic Spanish souvenirs. For shopaholics a short hop from Elviria
to Marbella’s Golden Mile will mean a chance to shop at some of the most
exclusive (end expensive) boutiques in the Costa del Sol. You can also purchase
items such as shoes, sunglasses, jewellery, watches, handbags and ideal items
for souvenirs to take home.
Eating out and Nightlife
Within the Marbesa resort itself you will find plenty of cafés, bars and
restaurants. There are also chiringuitos (beach bars) down by the beautiful
clean beach. You will find traditional Spanish cuisine such as seafood, Tapas
and tortillas alongside international dishes. British, French, Italian and
Japanese are among the flavours catering for all tastes in the Marbesa area. A
selection of fantastic Spanish and international wines and beers can also be
enjoyed.
The nightlife in the resort is fairly quiet but is located near to the energetic
and lively bars, discos and restaurants of Marbella, for those who wish to dance
until dawn. Several of the bars in nearby Elviria also have discos and live
entertainment. The main premise of a night out in Marbesa is to take a walk
along the quiet streets and stop for a bite to eat or something to drink at one
of the bars or restaurants.
